We're pretty flexible. Everyone has different needs and goals to accomplish. To give you an idea, for a Guitar or Keyboard/Vocal Demo that you perform - we ask for $50.00 and you walk out with a CD of it in the format of your choice. If you want to record backing tracks yourself - bass, mandolin, etc. that's fine. Just keep it under one-hour. We also offer 3-hour long blocks of time for you at $150.00 (9am - 12noon or 1pm - 4pm) and there is no limit on the number of songs/tracks you do. We want you to feel comfortable and focus on recording your parts, not feel like you have to watch the clock. So let us know upfront what you have in mind and we'll work with you. We are not set up to record full bands, were sorry to say - no room for a drumkit.
If you want us to perform your song or add instruments to it, it is $50 for Rhythm Guitar/Piano and Lead Vocal tracks then, $30 for each additional instrument. If you want Bass added, that's $30 extra. If you want us to do Background vocals or perhaps a three-part horn track or a string section, it is $30. It isn't, for example $30 for violins and $30 for cellos and $30 more for woodwinds.... it's a flat $30 for all. Same for Background vocals, no matter how many tracks we do - we like to sing! Note: If you do want us to do extra tracks for your project, please know that we need to schedule that time as we are not at the studio every day.
Again, everyone has different needs so contact us and tell us what you want and what you have in mind and we can give you a better estimate of your total cost. Pretty simple really.
Need Pre-Mastering? For those of you that have 6 or 7 ...or however-many songs already done and you're ready to get them all on one CD, we can do that as well.. Just like with recording and mixing, we'll work with you and what you have that needs doing.. Our pre-mastering includes song to song (volume) leveling, gaps set between songs, fades if neccessary, dynamics control, equalization and more.. Email to:
